Absolutely great B&B. Rooms were very nice and morning breakfast was the best!!. The owners were very welcoming. Close walk into town. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The cleanest hotel I have ever been to!! It's spotless anywhere in the room, and they maintain everything very tidy and clean. The breakfast is great and again a very clean and tidy setup. One downside was they asked us to pay in cash, but I heard from the hotel when I made a reservation that they accept credit cards. However, our overall experience was good, so we didn't mind paying in cash. The manager said she could wait until the next morning and let us check in without any payments. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Portree.
We loved our stay here! Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. Our hosts were kind and breakfast was delicious. It was just a short walk into town and a reasonable drive to the hikes and activities we did. We hope to return!
We stayed here from 17th-19th Nov 2024 and it was in the middle of winter where it snowed and the weather was nothing but heavenly. This was our first time in Skye and thought of using the property as our base as we explore the isle. We arrived at the property quite late at night around 630pm and Jo was nice enough to wait and attend to us although I did inform the property in advance. I have zero complain about the place. The bed in was comfy. There was coffee and biscuits in the living room. The heating was sufficient. Wifi was blazing fast. They had power sockets aplenty all over the unit. Bathroom was very nice although it got really cold still. I just wished the bathroom sink was not too short. We looked forward to breakfast from Jackie everyday and she was a very pleasant character. All in all a great place to stay if you plan to use Portree as a base.
This is definitely the best choice for you to come to Sky Island. The house is small and cute, the room is cozy, and the breakfast cooked by the elderly couple is amazing. I really recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and were very happy with everything! The rooms were clean, tidy, spacious, and welcoming. The hosts were accommodating and lovely to chat with. We had a perfect Scottish breakfast each morning before our daily tours. Would absolutely recommend this stay during your visit to Skye!
